BOOK CLUB AWARDS!

The WotC Book Club for The Shard Axe was a big success - thanks to all of you who participated, or even just read through the threads! They're conducting their 2011 Book Club Awards at the moment, with voting in 5 categories:
*Book of the Year
*Character of the Year
*Location of the Year
*Fight Scene of the Year
*Best Line
Sabira has already garnered a few votes; I'd love to see some more! A good showing might convince TPTB to include some more Eberron novels for discussion in the future - maybe even TSA2! Heh.
Oh, and in other D&D related news, I give you...5E. Let the rejoicing/gnashing of teeth commence!
(Personally, having read what WotC has to say, as well as what a lot of early play-testers have said, I'm looking forward to this one. Especially if it revives the Eberron novel line! Not that I'm biased or anything. Heh.)
Everything Else
It looks like Max's Running Crew raised a grand total of $1,563.13! We're down to just two runners, David and Nina, so I think that's a pretty good total, all things considered. To all of you who donated - YOU have helped make a difference in the lives of some very sick children - children like Max. Thank you SO much! You all rock - HARD!
The race is on Sunday. We'll be there with bells on (not literally) to support David (#35587) and Nina (#37838) and all the other Miracles in Motion runners - hope to see you there!
