So Tucson Comic-Con was AWESOME - a really great show put on by some of the nicest folks in the business. Definitely one to put on the yearly schedule! Partner Jeffrey J. Mariotte and I made a couple of big announcements there, too, which I'm going to share here (if you follow either of us on FB or Twitter, you already know).

First, Jeff has been named partner in and EIC for Visionary Comics! It's a well-deserved honor for someone who has taken more than one comic publisher from start-up to powerhouse, and I'm super proud of him!

Second, Jeff and I announced that we have been contracted to write a trilogy of Xena: Warrior Princess novels!

We're very excited about the project, and who wouldn't be? Xena kicks ass, and she's going to be a blast to write! And news of a reboot can only help build interest, right? Stay tuned for more news about release dates, etc.

Everything Else

Tucson Comic-Con weekend coincides with the annual All Souls Procession, which was just an amazing and moving spectacle. Equal parts mourning and celebrating, it is the largest such remembrance in the country. If you're in Tucson next November, definitely put it on your calendar. You won't want to miss it!

It was a great con, and exciting that we have three more books to write together!
