COKOCON RECAP
Writing
Back from CokoCon. Had a great time, saw some old friends, made some new ones (hi, Ashley Carlson!), did some fun panels.
One panel, Mental Health Check for Writers and Readers, got pretty deep and raw, but a few people afterward said it was really helpful and they appreciated it, so that was good, in a lot of ways. Here's a pic:

The Childhood Favs panel was also a fun one. GOH Beth Cato and friend Tom Leveen (and of course, hubby and writing partner Jeffrey J. Mariotte) were wonderful co-panelists.

And I picked up this awesome Steve Rude print, after chatting with the man himself, who was very gracious and kind:

All in all, a great con we'd be happy to attend again. Good job, guys!
Everything Else
Three-day con weekends are too short! Dinner and bedtime, STAT!
Happy Labor Day, all!
