Two out of three ain't bad....

*Submission, Hahaku antho, 8/24
In my second revision pass, I had to adjust my timeline a bit, which required the addition of a scene, so I am now at a grand total of 97,075 words. I'll do a third pass tonight to try and get the ms into WotC format, then I want to print it out and read the whole thing in one sitting tomorrow. Then it's going out on Sunday, and I will breathe a sigh of relief. Relief which will last about thirty seconds, until I realize some mistake I didn't fix or that I could have eliminated the entire last three pages of Chapter 42 if I'd just tweaked a phrase in Chapter 27.
Ah, well, that's what editors are for. Heh. ;)
(And, I'm kidding -- I don't even have 27 chapters.)
Everything Else
Hubby comes home in a week. Sigh. We all really miss him. I don't sleep well when he's not here, and the kids act up a lot more. I can only imagine what it will be like if (when) he gets deployed. :(
Interesting thing #19: My belly button is pierced. I had to take the ring out when I was pregnant with YB, and I never put it back in after he was born, so the hole has closed, but you can still see it. Kind of silly, huh?
