Writing
Pleased to announce that my story, "The Recliner," will be appearing in the Kandisha Press Women of Horror Anthology Vol. 3, The One That Got Away. Kandisha is a cool women-owned indie horror press; check out all the other talented ladies with whom I will be sharing a TOC!

I also turned in a short story featuring a public domain character for a charity anthology this week; I'll share more about that when I'm able.
Everything Else
It's 2020, so of course most everything sucks. Had to initiate a medical withdrawal from school for our teenager. Max has a mass/tumor on his side which the doctors can't identify or say for certain whether it's benign or malignant. So that's not at all terrifying. We are having it excised in January, and they can biopsy it after and figure out what the heck it is then - after it's out of my kid.
And we had to have our black lab put down Thanksgiving weekend. We opted for in-home, so she could pass comfortably in a place that was familiar to her, surrounded by her humans. The folks at Angel Vet were incredibly kind; would certainly recommend them if you ever have a similar sad need.
