Of Puppies and Poems

I wrote this military SF poem tonight in about an hour and posted it to my poetry group. I actually like it quite a bit, and the one member who is also military loved it, so off it goes to seek a home. The nice thing about sending it to Eric first is that, if he doesn't like it, I'll have it back in a few hours to send somewhere else. Keeps my sub percentage up, heh.
Everything Else
Puppy had a seizure the other night, the first since we put her on medication. It was a pretty bad one, brought on, I'm sure, by the fact that we missed a dose and were late with another one during all the excitement this past weekend. At least, I hope that's the reason, and not that she's developing a tolerance and needs to have her dosage increased. While the medicine controls the seizures, it can adversely affect her liver over time, especially at higher dosages. So we'll just have to keep an eye on her, and keep our fingers crossed that this was a one-time thing.
St. Francis, pray for us. Amen.
