Higglytown Horror

*Submission, Chimaera Serials, 1/22
*Submission, OG's Speculative Fiction, 1/22
*Rejection (2), Star*Line, 1/22 (RT: 4 days)
I had a character fall into my head this morning while listening to YB's Playhouse Disney CD. Of course, he's a character for a horror story, but will first be embodied in a poem, I think. So apparently the Higglytown Heroes are a great source of inspiration if you want to scare the crap out of kids. Who knew? Heh.
Everything Else
EB wound up giving his presentation today, so had no prep time. But he had the most questions of anyone in his class; apparently, the kids were really interested in his experiment, so I'm hoping he kicks butt in the Science Fair. Fingers crossed!
Oh, and it looks like he may be playing in his first ever tennis tournament this weekend. I hope it warms up a little, so YB and I can go watch him play. Where's a little Greenhouse Effect when you really need it?
