Not a banner week for writing. While my desktop was in the shop (in addition to the IS2010, my motherboard was "bulging" and "leaking fluid," so it ultimately became a data retrieval and transfer operation as opposed to a simple cleanup one), my netbook ALSO became infected. Same type of trojan, though the netbook had no files in common with the desktop, so the source of the infection remains a mystery.
Needless to say, THAT caused some frustration. Curses may have been uttered. But I'm finally back up and running (with this new version of Word that I hate, hate, HATE), so hopefully I can actually get some work done now. I know you're all so thrilled, heh.
Everything Else
Lots of stuff, so I'll keep it short.
We're in the middle of the 8th Tornado Watch of the day. The airport is closed, as are several freeways. Flooding all over the place, including our backyard. Fun times.
Today was YB's 100th day of school. EB starts tennis tryouts next week. Hubby also leaves for Pearl Harbor next week (Navy trip) and will be gone for a week. Max's scans have been scheduled for Feb. 2nd and 3rd, then we leave the 5th for a wedding in CA, but it will be a quick trip, since we have to be back for Max's follow-up visit with the oncologist on the 9th. (Who gets married on Super Bowl weekend, anyway?????)
Think that about covers it! Night, all!
