Writing

Some of you may recall last year when I mention reading a book manuscript written by my friend and fellow Muser, Jaime Lee Moyer. The book (not yet published), Delia's Shadow, won the 2009 Columbus Literary Award for Fiction. After I read it, I wrote the following to Jaime:

"That, hands down, is the best thing you've ever written. Don't be surprised if you get offered a multi-book contract."

Well, I am absolutely delighted to report that I was right!!!!! (Because it's always all about me, heh.) Jaime has just landed a 3-book deal with Tor to publish Delia's Shadow and 2 sequels! Woohoo! I am SO happy for her -- this book is SO good and I am so glad it's found such a worthy home! Now head over to her LJ and congratulate her yourself!

Also, a belated congrats to Jonathan Moeller and Erin M. Hartshorn, who both have stories in the upcoming RBE anthology "Assassin: A Clash of Steel." This looks like a fun one!

As for me, I'm getting ready to do a phone interview with Sig and Anne over at DDOcast here in about...yikes! 20 minutes! Looks like I'd better cut this short, but I'll definitely post when the interview goes live.

Everything Else

Umm...looks like rain? Heh.
