So, I said I'd have some writing-related announcements Friday, but I've got a little time on my hands this evening, and rather than stew over the fact that the oncologist didn't call, I thought I'd occupy myself with something a little more productive, so...early announcements!
Drum roll, please....
I've been given the go ahead to start the sequel to The Shard Axe! Woohoo! Everyone's favorite snarky Sentinel Marshal Sabira* will be back for another rocking adventure in (redacted), this time with our old friend, (redacted). Together, they will (redacted), (redacted), and fight (redacted). It's going to be SO much fun! Can't wait!
* - Oh, I know she's not now, because you haven't read the book yet. But she will be. Trust me. ;)
Remember that Sawyer guy I was talking about the other day? Turns out he and I share a TOC in the June 2011 issue of Aoife's Kiss. Sweet! You'll want to pick up a copy of this one, for sure!
Everything Else
Max had his scans today, but as I mentioned above, we have not heard back from the oncologist yet. Hopefully tomorrow.
In the meantime, you may recall that at his last set of scans, they asked if Max would participate in a photo shoot for the hospital magazine. I'd completely forgotten about it until the nurse handed me a copy of the magazine today.
Here's the cover:
And here's Max's first appearance as a model, along with noted anesthesiologist, Dr. Aubrey Maze (middle picture):
So now when he's rich and famous and appearing on the covers of romance novels, you can say you saw his work here first, LOL!
