OF CONTESTS AND CANYONS

Still busy pounding away at the keyboard (in between intermittent games of spider solitaire to let the brainstew simmer, heh), but wanted to take a quick moment to point you all over to The Book Pushers, an awesome book review blog that has relaunched with a delightful new site design. As part of their relaunch, they are having a contest with some great prizes - including a copy of Legacy of Wolves! So go check it out and enter to win!
Everything Else
The ILs were in town over the past few days, with some relatives who'd come up from Down Under for a once-in-a-decade visit. The lot of them went off with hubby and Middle Boy on a day trip to the Grand Canyon, while I stayed home with the other two boys and wrote. And that, gentle readers, is how you know you're really a writer - when you forgo one of the seven natural wonders of the world because you'd rather explore the wonders in your head, instead. (Or, you know, because you have a deadline or four. Whichever works.) Heh.
