STORY PORTALS, INC. LAUNCH
Sep. 1st, 2011 08:09 amWriting
First off, an announcement. I've mentioned working on some short stories for Story Portals, Inc., but never given you more information than that, because the site hadn't officially launched yet. Well, today's the day! The site is live, and my story about assassin/courtesan Katya, "A Child's Eyes," is one of the first offerings. Enjoy!
I also have a Bel Thorne story which may be available in October, and hopefully will do more for the site in the future. And in the meantime, have you checked out some of the other authors writing for the site? A great talent pool + an awesome editor = kick-ass stories. Become a member (it's free!) and you can preview stories before anyone else. Sweet! So what are you waiting for? Start reading, already!
Back? Okay, then don't forget to come see me at CopperCon this weekend! My schedule is here and I will have pre-release copies of The Shard Axe for sale, so don't miss out!
Everything Else
Just a reminder, September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. You all know Max's story, and how hard neuroblastoma is to treat, let alone cure. If you're so moved, join me and millions of other folks today as we #Rock2AbolishCancer by donating $1 to the childhood cancer charity of your choice - I have some listed here, or pick one of your own.
Also, a huge congrats to my hubby, who has been selected for promotion to LCDR. Way to go, sweetie! I'm so proud of you!
