CATCHING UP

Been a crazy few months here in Marcyville; hence the lack of updates. Some major life events -- first, my mom died (on my youngest son's 7th birthday, go figure). Exactly a month later, I got married (to my amazing writing partner, Jeffrey J. Mariotte). And then almost a month after that, we had to make an emergency cross-country trip to say goodbye to my brother-in-law (we didn't make it, but he was an amazing man whom you can read about here). So, yeah. Crazy.
But there is news on the writing front. Jeff and I turned in edits on our V-Wars: Shockwaves story, "The Real HousewiVes of Scottsdale," due out this month, if Amazon is to be believed. We also turned in edits on our X-files: Secret Agendas story, "Transmissions," due out in August/September. We are also currently waiting for approval of our outline for the second Xena book.
In terms of appearances, we'll be doing Megamania!! again this year in July, and TusCon 43 in November. We're also planning on doing Tucson Comic-Con, but are still working out the details for that one.
So we're around, settling in to our newlywed life, still writing around our day jobs, still doing cons when we can get away from those same day jobs. As always, check here or on FB for the latest updates -- which hopefully will be a little more timely from here on out!
