I've returned the countersigned contract, so I think it's safe to announce that I sold a poem - a Rapunzel retelling called "Erasing Myself from the Narrative" (yes, that's a nod to Hamilton) - to The Lorelei Signal. It should be in the October issue. Very stoked about that!
Preorders are up for Bodies Full of Burning, which contains my Lady Bathory story, "It Will Have Blood, They Say."

Jeff has also been busy working on some westerns, and now he's dipping his toes into the world of serialized novels. But I'll let him tell you about it.

Our (fully vaccinated) kids are finally back doing in-person school again, just as Delta cases are on the rise here. School hasn't even been in session for a full week and I've already had to keep one home due to COVID-like symptoms (test was negative, thank goodness). This is not stressful. Not stressful at all...
