In other writing-related news, I did not win, show or place for a Rhysling for the second year in a row, but some pretty cool folks I know did. Congrats to all, especially Sam and Mike!

Everything Else

So we decided to fly to CA for the IL's big to-do this weekend (what with the whole not-sleeping thing, being the only driver on an 8-hour trip didn't seem like such a smart idea). I haven't been on a plane since before YB was born, and EB hasn't been on a plane since he was YB's age, and YB's never been on a plane (except for in utero), so it should be interesting. Luckily it's a very short flight. Heh.

Bring suckers, pacifiers, empty bottles (get the milk on the plane...), or any thing to get the boys sucking or moving their jaws on take off and landing. Just in case one of them gets clogged ears and can't clear.

My son has flown 4 round trips and we've never had a problem having his scream from ear pressure.
