Still deciding what to write next. In the meantime, I finished off Firefly and Serenity (liked the series better than the movie), James Wyatt's In the Claws of the Tiger and Rich Wulf's Voyage of the Mourning Dawn. I also got Matt Forbeck's The Queen of Death in the mail yesterday, but I'll probably read Tim Waggoner's Thieves of Blood next. That and Graeme Davis' Blood and Honor, and I'll be caught up with all the Eberron releases and can move on to the rest of my towering "To Be Read" pile.

Everything Else

A rare sweep of my college football teams this past weekend, with Nebraska, USC and Montana State all posting wins. Of course, this charmed existence will definitely end for one of my teams on the 16th, when my Huskers play hubby's Trojans. But I will enjoy reveling in my support of three undefeated teams until then, heh.

Interesting thing #23: My first husband and I were related by blood. Now, before you start digging out your banjos and your "family shrub" jokes, our common line (Canfield) diverged back in the 1600's, so we were something like tenth cousins twelve times removed -- far enough that the relationship only counts on paper. And lest you think I'm unusual in this, remember that at least a million US citizens can claim descent from royalty, so the chances of two people whose families came over from Europe being distantly related are actually fairly high.

It's still weird, though. Heh.
