Right day this time. Go, me!

Everything Else

So. Got an email from DHL this morning saying they couldn't find my address and needed me to contact them so they could deliver my stuff...to an address in Texas. Except, you know, I don't live in Texas, and I wasn't expecting any deliveries from Dell. But apparently someone who is using my name does and is. So I've spent my entire day placing fraud alerts, going through credit reports, calling the FTC, canceling credit cards, pulling my hair out, etc. Oh, and filing a report with the police department in Texas, since the email from DHL has the address the delivery was supposed to be shipped to.

FUBAR doesn't even begin to describe this day.

That sucks, Marcy. I know a couple years ago my dad got nailed for something like 5 grand. But, after all the phone calls and what not he was credited it back.

It's a pain in the butt though. Hope you get everything worked out and it doesn't nagatively affect you. If you weren't such a famous author maybe they wouldn't have targeted you.
