Green Beans and Peanut Butter

Well, it's a start. Heh.
Everything Else
First, I want to wish a Happy Birthday to
saetter,
keelamonster, and
samhenderson! Consider yourselves spanked, or hugged, whichever you prefer. ;)
Moving on, EB and I are a week into the green bean experiment. Not only have the beans sprouted, but some of them are 10 inches tall! So far, the sprouts under the red and blue lights are doing the best; those under natural daylight are doing the worst. Go figure.
And lastly, an update on the bookshelf saga. The shelves we want are only physically available at Office Depot, but the nearest store is 70 miles away. We could order them on-line (they're $30 cheaper at Wal-Mart), but I want to see them in person before I spend that much money.
The Ikea shelves are pretty, but would never stand up to my toddler, and are more than I really want to spend, besides. So, short of Stu coming down here to build them for me, anyone have any other shelving suggestions?
Interesting thing #33: I cannot stand the smell of peanut butter on someone's breath. I can eat it myself, cook with it, bake with it, even make birdfeeders with it, and it doesn't bother me, but if I smell it on your breath, you'd better not get in between me and the nearest bathroom. You've been warned. Heh.
