Geek Euphoria
Oct. 18th, 2006 10:11 amWriting
*Submission, Abyss & Apex, 10/17
*Rejection, Lone Star Stories, 10/16 (RT: <1 day)
Oh, and apparently, I have a release date for Legacy of Wolves.
Even if they did spell my name wrong. Sigh.
EDIT: Everyone run quick over to Jeff LaSala's blog and congratulate him on landing a contract for Book #4 of the Eberron Inquisitives series (mine is #3, in case you've forgotten). Way to go, Jeff!
Everything Else
Oh, I'm so excited! DC Direct is finally coming out with some Donna Troy figures! Check them out:
Troia
Wonder Girl
And even a new Wonder Woman figure:
Wonder Woman
Now if they'd just do a Donna Troy as Wonder Woman figure, I believe my geek euphoria would be complete. Heh.
Interesting thing #34: There was a television show in the early 90's, Homefront, wherein one of the characters (Mike Sloane, I believe) said something along the lines of, "America is great because her citizens are never more than three phone calls away from talking directly to the President." I'm only two -- I grew up with a Senator's daughter. And if that didn't pan out, a friend of mine works with Ollie North (though I think that one might take more than 3 calls; I'm not sure George is taking Ollie's calls these days).
