Working on something that I can announce on Thursday, so check back then (and, you know, every day in between, heh).
Everything Else
Celebrated YB's birthday this weekend, which was fun and tiring (got to see
hewet_ka_ptah and her super-sweet kids for the first time in years, which was wonderful), and marred only by YB's increasingly more violent coughing fits. The cough seems to be a little better today (after giving him breathing treatments every four hours), and I was just starting to think maybe we might be able to send him back to school on Monday...and then I learned that McNeil has recalled all their Children's Zyrtec (along with a bunch of other children's medicine) AND they've stopped manufacturing it for the time being. YB takes Zyrtec every night; it's part of his regimen for fighting the allergy-induced component of his asthma, and if he doesn't take it, he's in Urgent Care within 48 hours. So now I'm sending hubby out to find it in the pre-filled individual doses (the only form not affected by the recall) and stock up, because that stuff is like gold around here -- it's going to go fast. Sigh.
