Writing

So Wizards (via the magical keyboard of James Wyatt) has posted a blog entry regarding the state of their publishing department. You can read it here.

Ultimately, it's pretty vague, but I believe it's meant to be reassuring. That's how I'm going to chose to read it at this point, anyway.

(Though I'd feel better if they brought the Eberron Author Roundtable back.)

Everything Else

Had to take YB to the pulmonologist today. He thinks YB's throat is just irritated and gave us some lidocaine solution to add to nebulizer treatments for a week or so to see if that makes a difference. Hopefully it will, since the next step is to 'scope him. I'd just really like for him to be healthy by the time school starts in...two weeks. Gah!

So the novel lead is the editor from Mirrorstone? I wonder if they're reversing the trend over the last ten years of having older oriented stories (aka "gritty") and going back to a younger demographic?
