Seems the first round of acceptances for The Ladies of Trade Town antho have gone out. Here's hoping my acceptance will be in the second wave! Fingers crossed!
Everything Else
Max saw the GI doc today. He gave us some supplements to try to get Max's caloric intake up, and a prescription for Prevacid to rule out GERD (if it helps, it's GERD; if it doesn't, it's probably EE), and went ahead and scheduled an endoscopy. The doctor normally has Thursday afternoons off and does endoscopies on Fridays, but he rearranged his schedule to coincide with Max's scans (on a Thursday) so that Max doesn't have to go under anesthesia twice. Then we have a follow-up with him and a nutritionist two weeks after that, so we should (hopefully) finally have some answers then.
In the meantime, he has his monthly oncology visit tomorrow morning (and we were actually able to get a urine sample tonight on the first try -- hallelujah!), his follow-up with the allergist on the patch testing in the afternoon, and then we are headed off to Seaworld. I won't have my laptop with me, so be good while I'm gone and we'll see you on the flip side!
