Everything Else
YB's bronchoscopy went well, though he was pretty out of sorts after waking up from the anesthesia. His airways looked great, so that was a relief. His vocal chords are swollen, which is usually indicative of reflux, though there may be some food allergy issues involved, as well. And his adenoids are still enlarged, and dripping goo, which is probably a huge contributing factor to his chronic cough/throat-clearing. We have to wait for the lab results to come back on the samples the doctor took, but right now the best guess is he's going to need the adenoids removed.
Thanks for all the prayers, etc! It's been a long haul, but it looks like the end may be in sight, at least for one of our boys' medical mysteries. Thank God!
