A little more about the Foreshadows: Ghosts of Zero project I blogged about on Tuesday. This is a crowd-funded project, meaning the money to make it move forward comes from interested donors/investors. But the folks behind Foreshadows aren't asking for something for nothing. Quite the contrary, they have a nifty list of cool gifts for every level of donation. And, unlike many such ventures, this one is virtually risk-free -- Kickstarter holds all donations in escrow, so that in the event that the funding goal isn't met, all the money goes back to the donors.

It really is a cool idea -- 19 stories, 19 tracks and 19 illustrations, all interconnected and entwined to make one remarkable whole. I'm excited to see it come to fruition. So excited, I'm a backer myself. Won't you join me?

Everything Else

Going to see Dave Ramsey live tonight. Considering that they just started another round of layoffs at hubby's work, in his department, I figure anything that helps us get some money socked away is a good thing. Just in case.

Thanks for the Foreshadows promo, Marcy! Much appreciated. Frankly, I'm stunned and proud to be in the same list of contributors with some of these folks. It's been a damn cool experience.
