Turned in my outline for the Story Portals short today and got almost instant (and spot-on) feedback from the editor, Larry Segriff. It's always a pleasure to work with a consummate professional.
Now I can get to work on the actual story...just as soon as I finish the edits for the Eberron novel, heh.
Everything Else
Very nice weekend in Marcyville. My Huskers destroyed unbeaten Mizzou and moved up 7 spots in the BCS rankings. Then we got to take Max trick-or-treating for the first time. Of course, he was much more interested in walking back and forth across the street than in collecting any candy, but that's okay (he's allergic to most of it, anyway). He did pause in his wandering to chat up a neighborhood jack-o-lantern, though. The perfect Kodak moment, presented here for your enjoyment:
