Sold my first poem of the year! "Hanny's Voorwerp" will appear in the July-Sept issue of Star*Line. Thanks, Marge!

Also got comments back on my slightly-too-long short story for Larry Segriff. He's asked for a few tweaks, but nothing major. To whit: "...you’ve done a great job on this story and I’ll be sending you the acceptance check shortly." Music to the freelancer's ears!

And, regarding that other project, I'm just waiting on the contract and then I'll be able to share. I hope you'll all be as excited about this new opportunity as I am!

Everything Else

The two youngest boys are down with Influenza B, and YB/Middle Boy has a secondary bacterial infection. Fun times in Marcyville. Or, you know, not.

Thanks, Missy! The boys do seem to be on the mend - hopefully YB can even go to school tomorrow. That would certainly be a relief, considering he's been home sick for a week and a half. (Mommy needs Calgon. Or alcohol. Or both, heh.)
