Writing

It is finished! The final draft of The Shard Axe is done! Hallelujah!

(Well, okay, except for a few little things like checking dates, etc. The actual writing part is done).

I shall let it sit for a few days, give it another read-through, and off to the editor it goes! Then on to the next one, heh.

Speaking of which, I do have the contract in hand for the other project I've been alluding to, so now that I have some time to actually breathe, I'll finish up that whole process and have yet another exciting announcement to make. So stay tuned!

Everything Else

There really isn't much to report in this area, since I've been in serious super-focused deadline mode. So, unless you're looking for stats on how much junk food my kids have eaten or how much Mt. Dew I've mainlined in the past few weeks, then I got nothin.'

Awesome, Marce. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy, and to hear more about this next deal of yours. Until I can get my own stuff into shape, I'll just have to live the writer's life vicariously through you. :)

Btw, when I unpacked all my books, I started a friend's vanity section. So far, I've got you, Kameron, and Peadar O Guilin. Three books, soon to be four. Maybe more soon, since another online buddy is getting some serious interest from agents. Keep it up!

Thanks, Stu! I'm really happy with how the book's turned out, especially with all the changes. It's not the same story you beta'd for me, but I think it's better.

And you can live through me vicariously any time. Unless of course, you want to skydive or vote Democrat or something crazy like that. Then you'll have to live through someone else, heh. ;P
