Writing

Thanks to a perfect storm of deadlines, I wound up writing 13,000 words over the course of about 3 1/2 days. That's a lot of words for me, what with three kids who still think they need to be fed, clothed and bathed (not to mention chauffeured around like rock stars) even when I'm supposed to be writing (heh). But I got everything in on time (yaay, me!) and now I only have galleys and a couple of story proposals to worry about. Oh, did I mention that those are due this week? Yeah.

So, what do I do when I'm burnt out and need to recharge my writing batteries?

Play with other people's toys (heh). See below.

Everything Else

Even casual readers have probably figured out I'm a Wonder Woman fan. I'm also a big Wonder Girl/Donna Troy fan. And I like to collect figures, statues and busts (and some artwork), especially variants (Elseworlds, etc).

Sadly, some of the pieces I'd most love to have do not yet exist (at least to the best of my knowledge). So I'm going to post a few ideas for the enterprising artists out there, in hopes that someone will take up the banner and produce these pieces to add to my collection. In no particular order:

A statue version of this:

This bust of Donna Troy...

...but in this costume:

AND

A Princess Ororo of Themiscyra figure:

There are others, of course (like affordable versions of the Tonner dolls), but these are the ones I want this week. So...someone get right on that, okay? Heh.
