Not All Tears Are Evil

Writing

Heard back from my editor that the revised manuscript for Legacy of Wolves had been received in good order and my check should be arriving shortly. No idea if there will be another round of revisions or not; if so, they should be minor. Pitched another novel idea to him, but no word on what he thought of that. Guess it's time to finish up my Luna-targeted manuscript (now that they're closing down, heh -- gotta love my timing).

Everything Else

Well, my darling husband is off on his Grand Adventure. We miss him terribly already, but are so very proud of him. We were able to get some nice family portraits taken before he left. He wore his dress blues, which I've decided are almost as yummy as the choker whites. Heh.

Anyway, lots of tears, but he left notes around the house and videotaped messages for special days and we will get to email and call him, at least while he's still CONUS, so we will get through. Seabees CAN DO, and honeybees can, too. Hoo-rah!

PS -- Happy Birthday, sweetie!  We love you!  And Happy Birthday to Elvis, too, wherever he is.  Heh.

Marcy, first of all CONGRATS on Legacy. Excellent news and, of course, I can't wait to read your book. Second, best on getting the thumbs up on the pitch. Fingers and toes are crossed for you. Third, best on the Luna gig.

All my hopes for your husband's safe journey and quick return home. He sounds like a total romantic...lucky you! :) Keep that chin up and keep smiling. He'll be back soon. Yeah...dress blues are amazing, aren't they?

Take care and please keep us, your loyal fans, informed on your writing progress.

Joe

Thanks, Joe. Yup, he's a great guy...the Navy better take good care of him...or else! Heh.

When are tears ever evil? Or tears, for that matter?

I've actually wondered that myself, but if Gandalf said it, it must be true, right? Heh.
