SPILLING THE BEANS ON THE SHARD AXE 2

A metric ton of things for you on this Happy Hump Day. (Which also happens to be my BFF Gini Koch's birthday - go wish her a great day! Go on, I'll wait.)
Back? Okay. Well, first off, last night I recorded another interview with the wonderful Sig & Anne of DDOcast. In it, I announced the title of TSA2, the return of a much-beloved character, and how TSA2 fits in with the latest happenings at DDO (i.e., Updates 13 & 14). So, if you want to be the first to know those juicy details (along with some others), you'll need to listen in to their live show on Saturday, beginning at noon PST (barring technical difficulties). The show will be downloadable sometime on Monday, and that's when I'll go ahead and post the info here. So, again, if you want to be the first to know, be sure to listen to the show! Heh.
In other The Shard Axe news, there are a few contests coming up where you can win a free, signed copy. Yaay!
First, Samius from DDO Cocktail Hour and the popular paycast Circle Jerk will be giving away a copy to someone who can correctly answer this question: "Where is Skaggy the Poet's Dr. Who tattoo?" More details here (starting about 4 paragraphs from the bottom - it's a long post).
The other contest will be right here, starting in February, and is going to involve a bleepload of awesome writers, so definitely stay tuned for that one!
Also in February, on the 2nd, I will be doing this. If you're in the area, please stop by. At last count, there were something like 38 WUFC authors participating, and for every book sold, $1 will go to help fund cancer research. There will be yummy appetizers, a silent auction where you can win a ton of books, and you might even make it on the news! (So dress nicely, you slackers! Heh.)
Everything Else
Middle Boy took 3rd place in his den at the Pinewood Derby!

The Bold Lightning
Also, we got Max's blood work back, and all of his thyroid functions look normal (thank God). They are not sure why his TSH levels were so high in December, and they'll have the Oncology Clinic draw labs when we are there again in March, but for now - no meds! Yaay!
And that's the end of that post. Heh.
