MORE CONTEST GOODNESS!
Feb. 8th, 2012 09:06 amWriting
The Crossing the Streams contest is still going strong! I've gotten some really good entries, and only one duplicate answer so far (two entrants did pick the same author, but different books of his, so I'm not counting that as a duplication). At the end, I will post the entire list so you can see how your own favorite poem/story/book did and get some ideas for new things to read. Remember, the contest goes throughout the entire month of February, so you still have time to enter.
As added incentive, I've decided that if I get over 100 likes on my FB page in the process of the contest, I will choose one ADDITIONAL winner to receive a free, signed book! So if you haven't entered yet, that would be a great place to do it! :)
Also, I know I promised TSA2 news, but things beyond my control have prevented the lovely folks at DDOcast from recording their show and airing my bean-spilling interview. However, they assure me that (if all appropriate saving rolls are successful), they will be broadcasting THIS Saturday, which means next Monday I'll be talking all things The Shard Axe sequel-y here on the blog. Coincidentally, that's also the day I'll be handing in the final draft of the book, so it's appropriate, no?
Finally, if you've already read the book, I'd encourage you to leave a review on Amazon, Goodreads, your blog, etc. To my knowledge, TSA and TSA2 are the only Eberron books planned for the foreseeable future, so if you want more, you need to let WotC know, and reviews are one of the best ways to do that (next to, you know, actually BUYING the book and not pirating it, but that's another post that will make me very cranky, so we'll save it for when I'm not on deadline, heh).
Everything Else
Anyone watch The River last night? I forgot to DVR it, and was wondering about the camera work. Cloverfield made me so nauseous I couldn't finish it - how does this compare? Anyone? Bueller?
