Just handed in the "final" draft of TSA2, and now it's time to spill some beans!
For those of you who weren't able to listen to DDOcast live this past Saturday, the podcast should be available for download later today (I'll update with a link when it is). But, in the meantime, here are some juicy bits about the sequel to The Shard Axe, in a handy Q&A format!
Q: What's the title?
A: The book is going to be called Skein of Shadows.
Q: What's it about?
A: The story is a prequel to the events in DDO Update 13, which you can read more about here. Update 13, as most of you know, is itself a prequel to Update 14, wherein DDO ventures into the Forgotten Realms! Exciting stuff!
Q: Who's it about?
A: Sabira d'Deneith reprises her role as the kick-ass Sentinel Marshal with an entire forest on her shoulder, and she is joined this time around by Greddark d'Kundarak. That's right - the dwarf artificer/inquisitive from Legacy of Wolves! Many of you told me how much you liked him in that book, so I'm really happy to be able to bring him back again for this one. :) And if you didn't get a chance to read his exploits the first time around, you're in luck - WotC will be re-releasing LoW as an ebook later this year. Yaay!
Q: When will the book be available?
A: The book was originally slated to release in September, but I just got word that they've moved it up and it will now be releasing in July! So, yes, that means, barring economic disaster and/or zombie apocalypse, I will be at GenCon with copies in hand to promote it! Double yaay!
I'm really happy with how this one turned out. My beta readers love it, my editor loves it (so far, anyway, heh), and I hope you will, too! T minus five months and counting!

Since I doubt I'll be posting tomorrow, I want to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day and to wish Arizona a Happy 100th Birthday. Here's to 100 more! *cheers*
