*SALE!, BBT, 1/23 (RT: 5 days or 5 1/2 months)
I originally subbed it on 8/6, but they apparently never got the email (stupid Yahoo!). However, I included the poem in the query and they liked it and bought it on the spot. Gotta love it when a query actually yields positive results, heh.
Everything Else
Inspired by certain of my friends (who I would link to if I could ever remember how to do that LJ link thingy), I have (re)joined Weight Watchers. I lost quite a bit on the program before, then got pregnant with YB and went off it. Since I have yet to lose all the weight YB brought with him (heh), I figure now is as good a time as any to get back on the program. Besides, it will be good to have a goal to work towards while Hubby is in the sandbox (and will make the homecoming all the more fun, heh).

Date: 2007-01-24 02:44 pm (UTC)WW is a good program--best of luck with it! I started in 2006, fell off a bit over the holidays and then backslid a bit during a high-stress episode, but I'm back on program and I'm still down 15 pounds from my starting weight. There's a meeting in the next town over with an incredibly good leader--very entertaining gal. Standing room only.
One of my goals for this year is to take up hiking. I walk a lot, but hubby likes to HIKE. Up mountains, preferably. At present, I'm too out of shape for that nonsense, and I also have to get a handle on the adult-onset asthma or I'll come to a wheezing halt . So before summer, I want to drop a significant amount of excess weight, get the asthma under control, and built up strength and endurance. I'm going weights at the gymn, using the eliptical at home, and taking a yoga class. My daily goal is an hour exercise. Hard to do, some days.
