T MINUS ONE WEEK AND COUNTING

I've got several irons in the fire at the moment, so it's pretty much all writing/research all the time here in Marcyville (except for breaks to separate my fighting children and write depressingly large checks out for various big ticket household items that are all deciding to break at the same time), but I wanted to let you know that B.A.'s review for Legacy of Wolves is now up over at I Smell Sheep. So, in case you missed it the first time, go check it out.
(And if anyone knows who the author mentioned in the comments section is, please let me know, because I'm pretty sure it isn't me, heh.)
Also, we are now ONE WEEK AWAY from the release of Skein of Shadows. That means it's about time for a contest. What sort of contest? Well, you'll have to check back on Release Day to find out, but my money's on a giveaway of some sort. Heh.
Everything Else
I got an email the other day that made me cry. One of my husband's former coworkers sent me some pictures of his two young daughters. It seems they started growing out their hair when they heard about Max's cancer diagnosis and the pictures were of them getting it cut so they could donate it to Locks of Love in his honor.
They've never met Max. So many of you haven't. But your continued outpouring of support for him as we come up on the third anniversary of his diagnosis never fails to humble us and warm our hearts. An extra name during bedtime prayers with your kids, a haircut, a donation to a childhood cancer charity or a children's hospital, even just a comment here or there to let us know we're in your thoughts - these things may seem small to you, but they keep us going, remind us we are not alone, give us hope and strength. They make a difference. YOU make a difference. Simple gratitude seems insufficient, but you have it, all the same.
Thank you. Always. <3
