ON THE BRINK OF NEVER
Aug. 2nd, 2012 06:32 pmWriting
First off, I and my poetry cabal (aka, the Musers) have put together a multi-author collection of poetry, "On the Brink of Never: An Anthology of Apocalyptic Poetry," available now from Sam's Dot Publishing (you'll have to scroll down a bit). Here's the cover:

It includes work by myself, Marcie Lynn Tentchoff, Samantha Henderson, Jaime Lee Moyer, David C. Kopaska-Merkel, Jennifer Schwabach, and Terrie Leigh Relf. All royalties from the collection will go to First Book.
Speaking of books, you still have time to win a copy of both my Skein of Shadows and Gini Koch's The Night Beat. Head over to her blog and enter (in the comments of the entry dated 7/27)! Contest ends this Sunday, so get a move on!
Finally, it looks like the lovely people over at The Tome Show may be doing a book club for Skein of Shadows. I don't have any details as of yet, but, as always, I'll post 'em when I get 'em.
Everything Else
Great news! Middle Boy's sweat test came back NEGATIVE - he does NOT have cystic fibrosis! Thank you, God! And thanks SO MUCH to everyone who sent prayers/good thoughts his way - it's all that kept us sane, I'm sure (well, as sane as we ever get around here, heh).
He is still losing/not gaining weight, so we're following up with a GI specialist, but in the meantime, there is much rejoicing in Marcyville!
