COPPERCON SCHEDULE!
Aug. 21st, 2012 06:39 pmWriting
CopperCon 32 is a little over a week and a half away, and I'll be there with bells and whistles on! (Well, okay. Not really. Probably just with clothes. But you never know.)
Don't know yet who my fellow panelists will be, but here's my schedule (subject to last minute changes):
FRI, Aug 31 How NOT to Get Published, 7-8 PM, Avondale III
SAT, Sept 1 It’s a Weird World of Contemporary Fantasy, 1-2 PM, Avondale III
SAT, Sept 1 Signing, 4-5 PM, Vendors' Room
SAT, Sept 1 Kill Off My Character, 8-9 PM, Avondale III
SAT, Sept 1 Playing with Dice, 9-10 PM, Avondale IV
SUN, Sept 2 Updating Classic Fairy Tale Characters, 7-8 PM, Avondale III
SUN, Sept 2 Female Archetypes, 9-10 PM, Avondale III
MON, Sept 3 Foolish Science in Film & Lit, 10-11 AM, Avondale I
MON, Sept 3 Reading, 1:30-2 PM, Avondale IV
MON, Sept 3 Film vs Lit, 2-3 PM, Avondale IV
Busy panelist is busy!
So if you'll be in the Phoenix area over Labor Day weekend, stop by and say hi! I will have copies of The Shard Axe and On the Brink of Never, and maybe some other stuff, too. Don't miss out!
Everything Else
Took Middle Boy to see the GI specialist, who - after the most cursory of exams and a Q&A session where it became clear she'd already decided what was wrong and none of our concerns were going to sway her - told us that the solution to his weight loss was TO FEED HIM MORE.
OMG, THANK you! I would never have figured out that entirely obvious course of action THAT WE'VE ALREADY TRIED without your overpriced expertise. Perhaps next you'd like to tell me that if my head hurts, I should probably stop slamming it into my desk repeatedly? O.o
There is, really, only one response to that:

Yeah, no.
