Had a great time at the Mysterious Galaxy 20th Birthday Bash with my pulchritudinous friends, Jeff Mariotte and Gini Koch. (I also had fun catching up with Nancy Holder, who I hadn't seen in a couple of years.)

Here are some pictures from our Awesome AZ Authors talk, and also from the signing we did after. Thanks to all of you who came down to share in the fun, especially Mariann and Blanca! *waves*

Also, I woke up to this lovely review of "Shaala and the Tiger's Daughter" over at Long and Short Reviews. Go check it out!

Everything Else

Had a lovely Mother's Day and received many wonderful gifts, the most appreciated of which was several hours of uninterrupted reading time, which I spent on Jeff's latest, Star Trek: The Folded World. I have not read any of the other ST:TOS novels, but am a big fan of the TV series, and I thought Jeff did a fine job capturing Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and all the rest. It was an entertaining read with plenty of action, some interesting new characters, and an intriguing mystery. If you're a fan of the original TV series, you will enjoy this one, I think. (And, also, he tuckerizes me in it, so it's pretty much worth picking up for that fact alone, heh.)
