Sorry about not posting a MangaMania recap; obviously that was a pretty emotional weekend for me and updating the blog (aside from the post about my dad) wasn't high on my priority list. But Henry Barajas has a nice summary here, so check it out. And here's a picture:

My dad's memorial service is this coming Monday, so I'll be flying up to eastern WA for that, to gather with all my siblings one more time. They asked me to write and share a little something, so I'm going to take what I posted here the day he died and modify it a little bit. It's not poetry, but it's the truth, and sometimes that's more powerful.
