WHERE'D THEY GO?

A couple of writing-related things today.
First off, you may have noticed that my Shaala and Kij stories are no longer available for purchase on Amazon and elsewhere. The stories had been published by Musa Publishing, but I have asked for and received my rights back so that I can (as many of you have asked) work on converting them, along with new material, into a series of novels. Removing the Musa versions from the market is a necessary step in that process. I apologize to those of you who may have wanted to grab the stories before that transition occurred, but hopefully it won't be too long before you're able to purchase the revised and updated versions in novel form.
I will be revamping my website over the next few days to reflect those changes. I'll also be adding a page for video clips, of which I have several I think you will enjoy.
I also wanted to let you know about a poetry project I was involved in with 21 other poets. Confessions is a unique collaborative effort years in the making, an epic poem written entirely in cinquains, each one building on the last words of the previous stanza. It's got an absolutely gorgeous cover, is being published by Elektrik Milk Bath Press, and sale proceeds benefit the Science Fiction Poetry Association.

See? Gorgeous.
Also, don't forget to come see me and my writing partner Jeff Mariotte (along with Henry Barajas) talking about comic book novels and other cool stuff at MegaMania in Tucson this weekend!
Everything Else
Sorry it's been quiet here. It's summer time, which obviously means the boys are home. Their dad was also home for two weeks R&R, but he's heading back to the wilds of Africa now. And, of course, I've been hard at work on the second Lady Justice book, which necessarily means less time for blog updates.
Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July and are having a lovely summer, however long yours lasts (ours is over in two weeks, alas).
