QUIET ≠ SLOW!

So I guess I kind of went into hibernation mode after getting the book turned in, since I only had one post for the entire month of September - oops! (Well, two, now.)
That doesn't mean nothing happened, writing-wise. Lots of things happened, some of which I can even share with you.
If you follow me on FB or Twitter, you know my poem "Synesthete" was published in issue 64 of Apex Magazine. Really proud of that one!
I also just mailed in the contract for a fun little project my writing partner Jeff Mariotte and I did, and I can't wait to tell you all about it. We're also currently working on two more short stories, have promised to do another for a really fun anthology, and have several book projects in various stages of development. AND will soon have a really cool announcement about a really cool thing we're doing with some other really cool people. (Tease? Who, me?)
So quiet in this case doesn't mean doing nothing, it means having too much to do to blog regularly! Still, I'll try to be better about it this coming month, especially since there are several things happening in November that I'm chomping at the bit to be able talk about! So check back often!
ETA: I'm also one of the "Female Stars of Tie-in Fiction" profiled in the Women Destroy Fantasy! issue (58) of Fantasy Magazine!
Everything Else
So I really didn't talk much about Childhood Cancer Awareness Month on the blog, but I don't want to end the month without at least one appeal to your heartstrings. So, here it is.
Awareness = Funding = Cure
