Just found out my poem, "The Wishing Star," was a Top Ten Finisher in the Preditors & Editors 2006 Readers Poll. I also just missed out on the Top Ten for Poet (tying Bruce Boston for 11th place, which boggles the mind). No love on the fiction side, alas, but I'll take my icon and be happy about it, heh.

And my hubby got to call from somewhere in Europe, and we talked for a bit before he got cut off, so that was nice. Overall, a good day. :)
