MORE CONS!

So I completely missed telling you all about Ace Comic Con Arizona, which was held Jan 13-15 in Glendale, AZ. Got to see a lot of comic book industry friends and meet some new ones, but not a lot of readers. I think there were only three or four authors there, as the rest cancelled for various reasons, so I'm not sure it was the greatest venue for book lovers. Still fun, though, if exhausting. And of course, Jeff came home with the flu AND an ear infection...but I digress.
Next up is C4! Cochise College Comic Con down in Sierra Vista, Feb 10-11, which will be much smaller. Here's my schedule:
Women in Sci-fi
Time: 12:00-1:00 PM Saturday, room 1000
Married With Deadlines: Spotlight on Marsheila Rockwell and Jeffrey J. Mariotte
Time: 1:00-2:00 PM Sunday, room TBA
Writing in Existing Universes
Time: 3:00-4:00 PM Sunday, room TBA
(Jeff's is the same, except he's not on the Women in SF panel, obviously.)
If you're down in SE AZ, come see us!
And don't forget Tucson Festival of Books in March! More on that next time!
Also, I finally updated my website, and in the process I added the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Vampyr Hardcover Ruled Journal, which Jeff and I wrote for Insight Editions, but were not credited for (even though we were supposed to have been - they did promise to correct that in the next printing, so we'll see). You can see that here.
Everything Else
Back to work full-time, back writing with my poetry group, still slogging through the second draft of my new novel. Will try to be better about updating here...BEFORE the cons, not after them, heh. FB and Twitter are still the best places to follow me for the most current(ish) news (hint, hint).
