KJZZ STORYFEST

Just a quick post to let you all know Jeffrey J. Mariotte and I (along with many other authors) will be at the KJZZ Storyfest at the Mesa Convention Center (Bldg C) next Saturday (June 1st) from 10 AM - 4 PM. Come say hi and pick up the newly revised version of Jeff's novel The Slab from WordFire Press!
Everything Else
In other news, I got rear-ended by a cop a week and a half ago on my way to work. Initially thought the car sustained only minor damage and that I was okay, but the car repair was more expensive than expected and I started experiencing stiffness and pain in my neck/upper back and pain in my lower back radiating down my leg a few days afterward. It's only gotten worse, and my insurance is dragging their heels authorizing the necessary testing to get proper treatment. So, yeah - so far, this year has kind of sucked on the personal front.
BUT!
We got a new kitty! Meet Jonesy!
Watch out, xenomorphs! He'll kill you with cuteness!
Also, Happy Memorial Day! All gave some, some gave all. Remember them.
