So, a little update on what I'm working on, for the curious:

*Eberron novel - working on final edits [contracted]
*tie-in short story - working on outline [contracted]
*YA fantasy novel (first in a trilogy) - outline, first 3 chapters complete
*YA contemporary novel (stand-alone) - still outlining
*paranormal romance novel (first in a series) - outline complete
*paranormal romance novel (stand-alone) - still outlining

Of these, I'm only actively working on the first three at the moment (contracted work always comes before spec stuff). I know some people who can juggle dozens of projects at a time and hop back and forth between them with ease, but I am not one of them, alas. I've effectively worked on a half dozen projects at once, but that's about my limit. Maybe that will change once my youngest starts school, but somehow I doubt it, heh.

Oh, and before I forget, fellow IAMTW member, AZ and now WotC author Jeff Mariotte has a great interview up over at the WotC Novel Book Club. Go check it out!

Best line: "Inspiration comes from everywhere--mostly from liking to eat and pay the bills." Heh.

Everything Else

Just had to fork out over $70 for a hypoallergenic multivitamin and calcium supplement for Max. Food allergies are so much fun. Or, you know, not. Bleh.
