The signed contract for my next project is in the mail, and as soon as I have the countersigned version back in my hot little hands, I shall be making a biggish sort of announcement. So, to do my best broken record imitation: keep checking back!
In the meantime, gal-pal and SF-rom-com writer Gini Koch has chosen me to receive her new "Worth Your Weight in a 'Gator Battle Award." You might think this has something to do with the 1996 Fiesta Bowl, but you'd be wrong. No, this is to let the world know how awesome I am (heh) and also to help promote Gini's latest book, Alien Tango.
Now, I realize many of my readers aren't the type to devour SF-rom-com. Guess what? I'm not either. BUT, I know Gini personally and she is one of the funnest, wittiest gals around. PLUS, she knows her comics like nobody's business. So I tried the first book in her Alien series, Touched by an Alien, and I was hooked! And I figure if I liked it, then you all might, too. So, give it a shot -- you may just find a new author to love. I know I did!

Still cold here, but warmer than it was. No ice in the dog bowl today; that's a plus.
