A BIG SIGNING AND A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
Oct. 7th, 2011 12:18 pmWriting
Had an absolute BLAST at Mysterious Galaxy last night with R. A. Salvatore, his lovely wife, my hubby, the awesome staff and all the great fans (some of whom were actually even there to see me, heh). Bob is so funny and gracious and just hearing the great stories his fans shared with him was an inspiration. I can't imagine what an honor it would be to have people tell me that one of my books was the first they ever read and that it's the reason they love reading now. Nicest guy in the business + best bookstore around = epic WIN!

(Me and Bob, with our latest releases, in book promo mode)

(me and Bob laughing and relaxed, which we were most of the night)
If you couldn't make it, Bob and I both signed a ton of stock, so you can still get signed copies. Order soon!
If you'd like to win a copy instead, the contest is still going over at Literary Escapism. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment saying what your favorite tie-in book is, or if you've never read one, tell me why. Easy peasy! :)
Finally, alittle, tiny superHUGE announcement:
...drum roll, please...
I am very pleased to announce that I have signed with Cherry Weiner of the Cherry Weiner Literary Agency!!!
The story in brief: My BFF Gini Koch introduced us back in May at the Phoenix ComiCon. I gave Cherry a copy of Legacy of Wolves to read and pitched her on my new paranormal profiler series. She was very interested in the concept and loved LoW. I got her proposals for the first three books in the new series, and she loved those, too...and the rest, as they say, is history! Cherry is an awesome agent with a lot of experience and I'm very lucky to have her representing my work. To quote one of my husband's favorite movies, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. :)
Everything Else
Not much else going on in Marcyville. Enjoying a working vacation in SoCal - signing books, catching up with friends and relatives, and, of course, writing. No rest and all that. Heh.
