Virtual CoKoCon 2021 is happening RIGHT NOW! Just a reminder of my schedule:
Saturday, Sept 4
4:30 - Married with Deadlines: COVID Edition
with Jeff Mariotte, Yvonne Navarro, and Wes Ochse
(Jeff also has a Weird West panel today at 12:45)
Sunday, Sept 5
2:00 - Author Self-care: COVID Edition
with Beth Cato, Steven Barnes, and Greg van Eekhout
4:30 - Poetry Panel
with Beth Cato, David Lee Summers, and Rhonda Parrish
Panels will be held via Discord or Zoom. Come say hi!
Speaking of Weird West, I sold a Weird West poem, "Soiled Dove," to Penumbric Speculative Fiction Magazine! Not sure when it will be out, but I'll let you know.
Everything Else
Like everyone else in the world, I am suffering from burnout. Mine is of the pandemic/parental/chronic pain variety. Unlike everyone else in the world, I am taking a class to help me manage it that is using Emily and Amelia Nagoski's book, The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle, as its basis. The book is fascinating and seems like it may be very useful. Fingers crossed.
