While doing a vanity search, I found the following article over at Speculative Faith about some of my poetry. Go read it - it's good!

Speaking of poems, I wrote a 31-liner for my poetry group tonight, loosely based on this. Still waiting to find out if they think it's any good, heh.

Everything Else

Thanks to all of you who have expressed your well wishes to me and my little one, both here and privately. We really were expecting for him to have surgery - the ILs even came up to stay for the week to help me out - but I've never been so happy to be disappointed!

In other news, GenCon may not happen this year after all, as the ILs may not be able to come down to watch the kids while I go gallivanting off to Indy, and I really can't afford to take them with me. Anybody want to babysit for 4 days in August? Heh.

I subscribe to Spec Faith and remember when that was first posted. I swear I came over here and posted a comment about it. Then again, I probably got interrupted or distracted and forgot to when I eventually made it over to read your LJ. Anyway, I found it extremely cool to see your poem featured. Mir is an editor for DKA/TSR, too. You guys ever chat it up?
