A "good writing but non-grabbing" reject from JJA. It's been so long since I subbed there, I don't even know where that falls on the scale of rejections. Not that it matters. Onward.

The Evil Kameron tagged me with a meme. 8 random facts about me. Long-time readers (all two of you) will recall that I recently did a list of 50 "Interesting Things" about me. But for the edification of new readers who may have missed that fascinating list, here are 8 things, in no particular order.
1) I learned to read when I was three, and decided I didn't need to go to school anymore after that - I'd learned what I wanted to.
2) I had my appendix removed by a veterinarian.
3) I'm adopted (but it's not what you think).
4) I can trace my lineage back to William the Conqueror.
5) I narrowly avoided being named after the River Brandywine in the Shire.
6) I graduated Valedictorian from high school and was a National Merit Scholar.
7) I got engaged in Italy and honeymooned in Scotland.
8) I have a tattoo. No, I'm not telling you where.
And because I am merciful and benevolent, I will refrain from passing this meme along (though feel free to pretend I tagged you if you want to come up with your own list).
