*SALE!, Fear and Trembling, 8/6 (RT: 2 months)
*Submission, Lycanthrope: The Beast Within anthology, 8/4
*Submission, Lone Star Stories, 8/4
*Rejection, Lone Star Stories, 8/5 (RT: 1 day)
*Rejection, ASIM, 8/6 (RT: 1 week)

Finally, a sale! It's a reprint, but, hey, I'll take it.

And an ego-building moment - one of the regulars over on the Online Eberron boards had this to say about my book:

"Legacy of Wolves has become my favorite stand alone novel from Eberron."

::Blush:: I consider that a real compliment, given how good some of the other books are.

Everything Else

The computer problems have been resolved - it was my ISP, after all. So now I only have a 3-year-old on steroids and an about-to-be-13-year-old with a crappy attitude to make me pull my hair out.

All in all, I think I prefer the computer problems. Heh.

"Mood: my kids are driving me crazy"

Ditto. My computer's working okay, though, except for not showing any of the Amazon.com graphics. :)

I saw that! I just smiled and thought this guy just made Marcy's day. :)

I think it was the steward character that pushed the book to the top of his list. His name just resonated with the reader, I'm sure.

*cough*

It wasn't the writing, the characterizations, or the mystery or anything. ;)

Congrats on the sale!

(And sympathies on the kid issues. I've got a three-year-old and two 12-year-olds, so I know whereof you speak.)
